Conservas de Cambados is located close to one of Spain’s largest Rías (estuaries), known as the ‘Ría de Arousa’. The facilities are very close to where the seafood is harvested, so they are able to use the freshest fish and shellfish available.
The products are characterised by their delicate and mild nature. They are harvested in small batches from the cool waters of the Rias, tidal rivers in north western Spain. After harvesting, they are carefully prepared and packed by hand in brine or olive oil. The result retains the delicate taste of the sea but without any strong fishy flavors.
